Day 2 : Sultanpur National Park and Okhla Bird Sanctuary (New Delhi).
After getting up bright and early for breakfast, make your way to Sultanpur National Park. Because it serves as a haven for a large number of resident birds as well as a stopover for a large number of migrating birds, it is an excellent location for birdwatchers. The park is located on the outskirts of New Delhi in the state of Haryana, and it includes both semi-arid and wetland regions within its boundaries. Our morning here is the ideal way to begin our tour through northern India since you will encounter a diverse range of species, including the Northern Shoveler, Northern Pintails, Red Crested and Common Pochards, and there is also a remote possibility that you will see Greater Flamingos.
Greater Flamingos, Grey-Headed Swamphens, Red-naped Ibis, White-Tailed Lapwings, Bar-Headed Geese, Painted and Black-Necked Storks, and White-Tailed Lapwings are some of the birds that may be seen in this area. You can see spotted owlets, yellow-crowned woodpeckers, purple sunbirds, eastern orphean warblers, bluethroats, red-breasted flycatchers, eurasian hoopoes, and even red avadavats in the densely wooded area that surrounds the marshes. In addition, the property is home to a variety of raptors, such as Marsh Harriers, Indian Spotted Eagles, and Ospreys, which feed on the fresh catch of the day. In addition, the park is home to a variety of mammalian species, including the Nilgai (also known as the Bluebull), Golden Jackals, Jungle Cats, and the Indian Fox.
After lunch, we are going to head out to the Okhla Bird Sanctuary. There is a possibility of stumbling onto a Yellow-Bellied Prinia and a Striated Babbler in this area. There is also a significant probability that we will see many of the species that we may already have seen earlier in the day. These sightings may have occurred earlier in the day. There have been documented sightings of 302 different species in and around the Okhla bird sanctuary and the areas that are immediately next to it. In January 2011, as part of the Asian Waterbird Census 2011, a leucistic coot, which is distinguished by its extraordinary dazzling white plumage, was sighted with the flock of common coots in India for the first time. This was a first for the country. The sanctuary is home to approximately 400 different species throughout the year and welcomes over one hundred thousand migrating birds during the winter months. It is home to approximately thirty percent of the 1,200 to 1,300 different bird species that have been documented in the Indian sub-continent.
Roseate House Aerocity or a comparable option is recommended for accommodations.

It depicts a sight that is really breathtaking in its splendour. The official launch of the Project Tiger conservation effort in India took place at Corbett National Park, which holds the honourable distinction of being the venue of choice for the event. The Reserve’s exceptionally high biodiversity can, in part, be due to the wide variety of habitats that can be found here. Because of its location in the foothills of the central Himalayas, the Reserve is home to flora and wildlife that are native to both the Himalayas and the peninsula. The Forest Rest House was our destination for both supper and the night’s lodging.
